We’re Excited You Want to Come Use the Trails!
Please take the time to read the following so you’ll have the best experience possible.
Getting There: Search “Standing Boy Trails” in googlemaps. After you turn west onto Old River Road and cross Standing Boy Creek, there will be a gravel road on your left. After you turn onto it, the parking area will be obvious. We are working on permanent, more-visible entrance signage.
Parking: At this time, we have very limited parking. We have plans for over 70 additional spots but are waiting on environmental clearance and fundraising. In the meantime, please carpool with members of your household and be careful to center on the wheel stops so we can maximize our current parking. Also, if the lot is very full, please don’t hang out after your ride. We hate to say that, but it shouldn’t be necessary much longer.
Fees: At this time, you need either a State Parks Pass, a Lands Pass, or a hunting or fishing license. If you are using a Lands Pass or hunting or fishing license, please either leave it on your dash or make a copy of it leave on your dash. A Lands Pass or hunting or fishing license will be honored until June 31, 2021.
Hours: For 2020-2021 hunting season, the trails are closed until 10:00 until January 10th and then from March 20-28, April 3-11, and April 17-25. Archery and small game hunting are allowed on the property.
Trails:
- Please carefully consult the Trail Map and Trail Rules.
- Please check trail status before you head out.
- We highly encourage you to download and use a trails app like MTB Project or Trailforks.
- Riders: Be respectful of the blue/intermediate trail. It is accurately labeled blue trail, but depending on where your ridden before you may find it pretty difficult.
